Treasured chairs and sofas re-covered, and headboards made to measure, all upholstered in our Howe Street workroom.
Some pieces are worth keeping: a chair that's been in the family for years, a sofa with a good frame, a bed that just needs a better headboard. Reupholstery gives them a new life in a fabric chosen with you to suit the room, and often to match the curtains, blinds or cushions we're making for it.
All of our upholstery is done in our own workroom, by our own team. That means the person choosing the fabric with you, the person making the curtains and the person re-covering the chair all work under one roof, so the whole room comes together as one scheme. We upholster for homes, and for hotels and restaurants too, from lounge chairs and dining chairs to hotel headboards. Reupholstery
Armchairs, button-back chairs, wing chairs and sofas re-covered in the workroom. Recent chairs have been reupholstered in Ashley Wilde's Lina Weaves, a Clarke & Clarke bee print with contrast piping, ILIV's Babushka in Hot Pink and Romo's Effie by Temperley.
Bespoke headboards
Headboards made to the size of the bed, panelled, striped, patterned or plain, and often made to match a Roman blind or bed runner. We've made them for family bedrooms and for hotel bedrooms, including at Mulberry House Hotel.
Upholstered beds
Full beds upholstered to match the scheme, like the headboard and bed in the client comment below.
