Automation

Handmade curtains and made-to-measure blinds on motorised tracks and systems, specified, fitted and dressed by our own team.

Automation is a large part of our work now. We fit motorised curtain tracks and motorised blinds, from hardwired systems to rechargeable ones, using systems including Silent Gliss and Somfy. Then we hang our own handmade curtains, sheers and Roman blinds on them, and dress them properly, so the finished window looks as good as it works.

Electric curtains and blinds make the most sense on windows that are tall, wide or hard to reach: floor-to-ceiling glazing, long runs of sheers and high windows. They also mean the curtains aren't constantly handled.

We're based at Howe Street, near Chelmsford, and work mainly across Essex and the Home Counties. We take on larger projects further afield, and we work in London too.

Every system is chosen for the window, so the price depends on the size and the system. Email us rough dimensions for a guide price.

Electric curtain tracks that open and close full-length curtains without anyone pulling on the fabric. Recent work includes a Villa Nova voile hung on Somfy motorised tracks, dressed by our team once fitted.
