A levelled track in an old farmhouse

Old farmhouses rarely have a straight line in them, and this sitting room had a very wonky ceiling. Fixed to follow the ceiling, a curtain track would have sloped, and the curtains with it.

So we levelled the track first. With a true line to hang from, the pinch-pleat curtains and sheers hang evenly across the window, however much the ceiling above them wanders.
